The Doors are different; that's all

I don't imagine there are many who have the fond memories I have of my Kuser School. From"Reception" grade, way back in 1939 when Miss Mary Kelly sat in her rocking chair in front of the Kuser School fireplace, reading to us teaching us, and introducing us to the splendid Hamilton Township educational system, right up until graduation in 1947, I will be ever grateful for the education I received from a faculty which was dedicated to a quality education. A student didn't leave the hallowed halls of Kuser School without a working knowledge of the "3r's".

Kuser School Hamilton Avenue Side

In September, 2009, Kuser School will celebrate its 100th anniversary. Many viewers of this website are familiar with the many columns I have written about my experiences as a student of Kuser from "Reception Grade" right through my 8th grade graduation in 1947. I have been collecting material on Kuser for more than 50 years, and will use this website to share some of it with you. Hopefully, it will be a useful tool for the upcoming centennial celebration.
