ON TUESDAY EVENING , MAY 8, 2007 AT 7:00 PM AT THE KUSER FARM MANSION, I AND MY TWO BROTHERS, BUD AND LEN GLOVER, WILL BE PRESENTING A PROGRAM ENTITLED, "KUSER SCHOOL: GRAMMAR SCHOOL MEMORIES." WE WILL BE RECALLING OUR YEARS AT THIS WONDERFUL INSTITUTION OF LEARNING.
THOSE IN ATTENDANCE WILL LEARN WHAT LIFE WAS LIKE FOR STUDENTS AT KUSER DURING THE 1930'S TROUGH THE 1940'S.
LEONARD GLOVER ATTENDED KUSER FROM 1930 TO 1938. WILLIAM "BUD" GLOVER FROM 1933 TO 1941, AND THOMAS "TOM" GLOVER FROM 1939 TO 1947, DURING THOSE YEARS EMILY C. REYNOLDS WAS THE PRINCIPAL, AND THE LEGENDARY "RECEPTION GRADE" TEACHER WAS MISS MARY KELLEY.
KUSER SCHOOL WILL BE IN THE NEWS DURING THE NEXT FEW YEARS AS WE APPROACH THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF ITS FOUNDING IN 1909.
